Based out of the greater Austin, TX area, 2L2G strives to meet the present age and current situations to effectively WIN THE WORLD FOR CHRIST! The 2L2G acronym represent the four avenues where one can find their space in an uncertain place.
Live
Many of us were raised and taught to survive, but we are called to live. Jesus himself said in John 10:10b that He came that we might have life – an abundant life.
We live, standing firm to the promises of God! Knowing that our current problems, situations or circumstances cannot separate us from the LOVE of God.
Love
We are called to Love God with all our heart, souls and minds. But, Jesus also told us that we are to love our neighbors as ourselves.
Sadly, many of us don’t love our neighbors because of personal or theological biases. We also can’t love our neighbors because we don’t love ourselves. We must show love because GOD IS LOVE!
GROW
Nothing in nature stays the same. Growth is expected. Farmers plant seeds, but expect plants to grow. As parents, we bring infants home, but wait with great anticipation when they grow and meet developmental markers.
As disciples of Christ, we too are to grow in grace and knowledge of Jesus. Growth is not an option, but a mandate.
GO
In the Great Commission, Jesus told his disciples to GO and spread the good news of the gospel.
When we learn to LIVE – LOVE – GROW, then we can GO and share the good news of Jesus to others!
